This fertilizer works well for all types of ficus trees in various potting soil: Ficus Lyrata (Fiddle Leaf Plant), Ficus Audrey, Ficus Religiosa (Sacred Fig), Ficus Elastica, (Rubber Tree or Rubber Plant) Ficus Benjamina (Weeping Fig), Alli (Narrow Leaf), and more!
Sprinkle The Grow Co Ficus Plant Food evenly on the surface of the planting soil. Use 1/4 teaspoon for every 2 inches of pot width.
Distribute The Grow Co pellets evenly around the pot and base of the fiddle leaf fig. If possible, mix pellets into the potting medium to a depth of one inch.
Water fiddle leaf fig thoroughly and resume regular watering schedule thereafter. Repeat application after 5-6 months or as needed.
IMPORTANT: Overwatering is the main reason fiddle leaf figs don’t thrive. Use pots and potting soil with ample drainage and water plants only when your outdoor ficus and house plants begin to show signs of dehydration. Remember, underwatering is better than overwatering!
